I Can't Sign In
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Magic link never arrives | Check your spam/junk folder. Try again. Links expire after 15 minutes. |
| Magic link says "expired" | Request a new one. They're only valid for 15 minutes. |
| Google sign-in fails | Make sure you're using the same Google account email you signed up with. |
| "No account found" | Head to platform.cleanclicks.io/signup and create your account — signup takes about a minute. If you thought you already had an account, double-check the email address: magic link and Google sign-in reach the same account only when the email matches. |
My Domain Is Stuck on "Pending Verification"
Your CNAME record isn't resolving yet. See DNS Problems for a detailed walkthrough.
Quick checks:
- Did you add a CNAME record (not an A record or TXT)?
- Is the name
cleanclicks(not the fullcleanclicks.yourdomain.comunless your provider requires it)? - If using Cloudflare, is the record set to DNS Only (gray cloud)?
- Have you waited at least 5 minutes for propagation?
The Tag Isn't Detected
CleanClicks can't find the script on your website. See Tag Not Detected.
Quick checks:
- Is your domain Active (DNS verified)?
- Is the script tag in your page's
<head>section? - Does the script URL match
cleanclicks.yourdomain.com(your actual domain)? - Can you see
cc.jsloading in browser DevTools > Network tab?
Conversions Aren't Appearing
Events fire but nothing shows up in your ad platforms. See Conversions Not Appearing.
Quick checks:
- Is at least one trigger configured in Configuration > Triggers?
- Is at least one platform connected and enabled?
- Are platform credentials valid (check Connections page)?
- Have you waited 15-30 minutes? Ad platforms aren't instant.
I Hit My Plan Limit
| Limit Hit | What Happens | Fix |

| Domain limit | Can't add more domains | Upgrade plan or delete unused domains |
| Platform limit | Can't enable more vendors | Upgrade plan or disable unused vendors |
| Session limit | Tracking continues; overage usage is shown on your dashboard | Monitor usage; upgrade if you regularly exceed |
| API key limit | Can't create more keys | Revoke unused keys or upgrade plan |
The Dashboard Shows No Data
If your dashboard is empty after setup:
- Verify your domain is Active
- Verify the tag is loading (check browser DevTools)
- Visit your own website and trigger a test event
- Wait a few minutes and refresh the dashboard
- If still empty, check that you have at least one trigger configured
Traffic Analytics Shows Nothing
- Traffic Analytics is only available on Signal+ plans
- Data starts accumulating after the tag is installed and traffic flows through
- Allow at least 24 hours of traffic for meaningful analytics data
- If you just enabled the tag today, check back tomorrow
"Upgrade Required" Messages
Some features are gated by plan tier:
