Adding a Domain

Your domain is the foundation of CleanClicks. Every tracking tag, conversion event, and platform connection is scoped to a specific domain.

Adding Your First Domain

If you're going through the onboarding wizard, Step 2 handles this automatically. Otherwise:

1. Go to Domains in the sidebar
2. Click Add Domain
3. Enter your root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com)
4. Click Add

Domain Format

• Enter the bare domain without https:// or www. Just yourdomain.com.
• If your site runs on a subdomain (like shop.yourdomain.com), enter the full subdomain.
• Domain names must contain only lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens, and dots.

After adding a domain, it goes through these states:

Plan Limits

Each plan limits the number of domains you can track:

If you've hit your limit, the Add Domain button will be disabled with a note to upgrade.

Pausing a Domain

If you need to temporarily stop tracking on a domain without deleting it:

1. Go to Domains
2. Find the domain card
3. Click Pause

Paused domains retain all their configuration but stop processing traffic. Configuration pages become read-only. Resume anytime to restart tracking.

Deleting a Domain

Deleting a domain removes it and all associated configuration permanently. This action cannot be undone.

1. Go to Domains
2. Find the domain card
3. Click Delete and confirm

Warning: Deleting a domain also removes all connected platform tokens and API keys for that domain.
